"28 Days Later"

Well, after waiting for forty-five minutes or so in a hot court room (gymnasium) I got called before the judge.

Lawyer: I would like to adjourn so that I may explaion to my client our options and (the bargain?)

--> I was too nervous to hear for sure what she said, but that was the hi and low of it.

Judge: Okay, we will adjourn on August 18th. You are dismissed.

Me: (all aglow) Minga Butana! Okay. Thanks.

Lawyer: Call me so I can explain to you everything.

Me: Yeah, Bye.

So, all the worry about tonight was for naught. 4 more weeks to bemoan my fate, nervously waiting whatever doom the state of NY feels is appropriate.
